About the ACTINET in Europe

The ACTINET is the consortium inaugurated in 2004 with the participation of twenty-six institutions from fourteen European countries plus European Commission resources (JRC-ITU). The general trend of recent nuclear technologies grew the aspiration for more reliable prediction based on basic science. Theoretical breakthrough supported by the latest laboratory researches is required. In order to underpin technological development for these demands, the ACTINET aims to provide research facilities and human resources commonly shared in Europe.
